Alpine Motors was established during the summer of
1971 in Fort Lauderdale Florida and has always remained under the same family
ownership.
The original location was a small, three-vehicle showroom
located on US-1, directly across from the entrance to Ft. Lauderdale's War
Memorial Auditorium and the Parker Playhouse. Alpine Motors sold 38
vehicles in its first year of operation. The original staff of 4 employees
established trust, ethics and the qualities necessary to meet and exceed
customer's expectations that remain an Alpine Jaguar standard to this
day.
In 1974, Alpine Motors relocated slightly east to
Sunrise Boulevard. Alpine was awarded the exclusive Broward County
distributorship for Jaguar Motor Cars and Alpine Jaguar was born.
Rapid growth followed throughout the 80s and 90s with the acquisition of
adjacent properties to accommodate the ever-present expansion requirements. In
1999, Alpine Jaguar became one of the largest volume Jaguar dealerships
in the United States, a far cry from its humble beginnings just 25 years
before.
In the spring of 2003, Alpine Jaguar moved into its
new State-Of The-Art Facility located along I-95 and Cypress Creek Road in
north Ft. Lauderdale. The 160,000 square foot facility includes an elegant
showroom, new and pre-owned vehicle display decks, a three story parking
garage, covered customer parking, customer lounge, drive-in service department
with porters, complete retail and wholesale parts department, a parts and
accessories boutique, a fully air conditioned 24 bay service department with
all the latest high technology diagnostic equipment staffed by highly skilled Jaguar
Certified Technicians.
Alpine Jaguar is the only exclusive Jaguar
dealership in the Southeast and has been the largest volume Jaguar dealer in
the Southeast for 2006 & 2007. Alpine Jaguar is also the 3rd
largest Jaguar dealership in the Nation for 2006 & 2007.
